Megan Rowbottom (she/her) is a Canadian author and illustrator who uses analogue mediums to tell stories about fauna, friendship, and fairy tales to children. She pulls inspiration from fibre arts, trinkets, and the small-town whimsy of her childhood on Vancouver Island. Megan loves to knit and sew, while illustration remains another cog in the crafting realm she’s always cherished.
Megan is graduating from Emily Carr University of Art & Design in May 2026 with a BFA majoring in Illustration. During her education, she focused on Children's Book Illustration and storytelling. Megan is currently unagented, seeking representation, and available for work.
