Marlowe’s Friend is an eight-page short story, told in a zine. The story introduces Marlowe, her imaginary friend, and what she learns from him. If it weren’t for the lessons and advice passed down from him, this friend seems to be a complete figment of her imagination. That is, until the final page, when the audience catches a glimpse of a stuffed toy in Marlowe’s arms, which mirrors the appearance of the imaginary friend. It’s all the same to Marlowe either way.
